Here I blogged about Forever 21's Marvel Tee, and this skirt was inspired by it. I purchased one yard of this fabric from Walmart (and it was under $6 a yard). The fabric elicits more of a vintage like feel, making me love it even more. Stay tune for an Outfit of the Day post!
This fabric was purchased from Joann Fabrics, after I made this skirt I went back to Joann's to get more, and it was sold out. I only purchased a yard =[
I blogged about fishing lures being on trend a few months ago, and even showed you guys this fabric here. This skirt is definitely a conversation piece, because it's different and very unexpected. Pair this skirt with a denim vest, and a pair of red Keds and you're good to go!
So what do you think? Will you be making any skirts soon? I'm currently working on a black sheer skirt, stay tuned for the finishing project.

You do fabulous work! I'm so no skilled at making clothing. Have you thought of selling your novelty skirts on etsy? Might be a good idea.
ReplyDeleteI have gave it some thought (opening up a store), and thank you so much Danielle!
DeleteSo cute girl!!! You know I love some good homemade creations lol!!
ReplyDeleteStart an Etsy!!
I would love to do an Etsy shop, but half of the stuff that I do, they have them over there for triple the price I would sell them for.
DeleteI want one! Those look really good Kamea. The marvel one is my favorite!
ReplyDeleteThe Marvel one is my favorite one as well, when styled it would be paired with my light washed denm vest.
